About the champion ship
MEC is truly a competition that fosters entrepreneurial spirit. It serves as a platform to deliver the educational experience of Columbia Business School’s MBA programme to aspiring entrepreneurs. Students are required to tackle real-world business challenges by developing detailed business plans encompassing product analysis, market research, marketing strategy, financial planning, and risk management. Furthermore, participants produce promotional videos and deliver compelling presentations to the judging panel. Through this immersive experience, students acquire practical skills and gain invaluable exposure to entrepreneurship and the business world.
